The year is 2983. A great war started by the humans raged throughout the earth many died, those that didn’t suffered as Mother Nature tried to repair herself. Great storms of dust rushed throughout the land choking the lush grasses, killing crops, taking the lives of the innocent and guilty alike. Soon the humans were gone, as were many plant and animal species. A few banded together to save themselves … to save their world.
They succeed for many years; they carved the land, build great walls to keep the sand out of the lush grasses. Minor species, Gazelles and the common zebra survived the droughts and adapted to life in the dessert. Food was ample, the fractions peaceful. Until, that is, a drought ravaged the land. Some say that the Hyenas started the war, others say the Lions. If one asks the Jaguars and Leopards they will blame the Cheetahs and the wolves lay blame on the Tigers. Nobody alive today remembers what started the war between the fractions. Hatred for one another runs deep in their blood, everyone is an ally to aid in the others demise. Many have died, few are left alive.
The Garden of Eden, the largest remaining plot of greenspace is home to many creatures that have long-since disappeared from the earth. Owned by no one but loved by everyone it’s the pride and joy of the Felines of the land. Their ancestors created the log barrier around it many years prior and it stands for the hope they have in the future. The canines of the land, driven by hunger, have started hunting here. A place many of the feline group find to be one of most sacred origin. Tempers continue to flare as a drought like none have seen before rages like hellfire throughout the land.
